Central Tarp has pioneered the design and evolution of the chip trailer rollover tarp. Our tarps are supplied through many chip trailer manufacturers on new trailers. Manufactures like TyCrop trailers, titan trailers and Manac trailers. We have also developed our tarps working with leading wood chip hauling trucking companies like DCT Chambers, Trimac, Bulk Systems and Arrow transport from the very infancy of wood chip hauling in western Canada. - R.F. Welded Seams: 10 times stronger than sewn seams and no thread to rot. Where sewing is required, Central uses high quality, U.V. resistant industrial thread!
- Double Layered Pipe Pockets: All pockets have two layers of vinyl for extra wear protection.
- Heavy-Duty Load Strap: We use top grade Load Strap webbing for all tie downs. Twice as strong as seat belt webbing and longer lasting.
- Highest Quality Vinyl Available: All of Central’s tarps are made using Premium Shelter-Rite vinyl. This vinyl has proven itself in the field and in the lab to be far superior to other common vinyls.
- Anti-Wear Tie down Sleeves: Super abrasion resistant to keep "D" rings from wearing through!
- Anti-Abrasion Strap Covers: All tie down straps are protected by an additional layer of vinyl to protect against wood chip abrasion!
- Anti-Wear Double Bar "D" Rings: All tie down rings have an extra bar to prevent the "D" ring from turning on the webbing. All rings are nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Every chip tarp should have this feature!
- Facilities and Equipment: Central has over 6,500 sq. ft. dedicated to the manufacturing of quality chip tarps and nets located in Vernon B.C. We also have detailed plans for nearly every trailer on the road. We can build a tarp to your exact specifications or any special needs you may have!
